3D Printing – Filament

First and primary course required to use the filament-based 3D printing area, the resin printing is handled by a different course.

This course covers a lot of ground from Fort Collins Creator Hub policies to 3D printing “theory”, and spanning multiple pieces of software. The intent is to present a large amount of information and background to you in this format to prepare you for your in-person training. This is a very large amount of information, do you best to absorb as much as you can here.

Much of the training is YouTube videos, wandering around to watch related videos is encouraged since 3D printing is a lot more complicated than 2D printing where your main choices are printer type (ink, laser, dye, etc) and paper type – then just hitting Print.
